![]() ![]() Help? I really do feel pretty good that I got this much and I am beginning to see the light! ( but not the light table. Neither #1 nor #15 shows for me to draw in between. Turned on the light table, and don't know what to do with it. then tried the same move from under the last image and got one right next to it, which I moved to the middle. In the popup window select OK and you have created a new image"Īnd got one put in slot 15. I am half-way there - made the first image, then dragged the grey matter ( great, btw, I was dragging white matter, before!) to fifteen, then Click under the last frame and Right Mouse Button click (RMB) on that spot and select Insert Images from the menu. Click under the last frame and Right Mouse Button click (RMB) on that spot and select Insert Images from the menu. and will get back to you on how I progressed with this -going to take FX's advice and do a small thing - wiggle a bunnies ears, or something :} Stretch out the instances of this frame by clicking in the tiny sprocket hole in the bottom right corner of the frame and drag out the gray matter a few frames, say 10 or 15 frames in length. Paul, I love that last line! I am going to go through these instructions tonight - they are clear and to the point - BTW will be ordering those books, too. You are in the Timeline Mode and want to know how to add a blank frame to your timeline. What threw me was that you asked how to add frame to Project Mode. Paul Fierlinger wrote:Then my predecessors were correct. Go back to your timeline and continue placing a new frame between two images and draw an inbetween image. Now you have assigned the command to create a new image to your 0 of your numbers pad. ![]() Now for the shortcut to make a new image: Open the Configure Shortcut panel (Ctrl+K) and in the left column select a Ket (say zero on your Numbers Pad) and in the right column select Layer and inside that section select: Insert Single Image After Current Image. Somewhere between these two images create a new image, turn on your Light Table and draw a new image between the lines of the one on the left and on the right. In the popup window select OK and you have created a new image (There is a shortcut way which I will explain later)ĭraw your new image a new pose of the first one. (2)īy default with the latest TVPaint versions, (1) are assigned to left and right arrow and (2) are assigned to ctrl+left / right. Then my predecessors were correct. Use "Go to next instance" and "Go to previous instance" to move between existing instances. Use "Layer: Go left" and "Layer: Go right" if you wish to navigate freely. Is there a way to go back to the previous behaviour of the shortcuts at all? I've always found it intuitive to use the shortcut for quickly creating new keyframes, especially when animating straight ahead and passing back through already timed out frames on that layer without having to switch what keys i'm pressing just to create new frames.Īs explained on the other topic created by Jmew : you have the possibility to choose. Before when using the shortcut you could keep the timeline moving outside of any created instances on that layer, whereas now you're locked to moving in whatever instances are already created. ,Wacom Intuos Pro 5, Wacom driver version 6.3.39-1. 16 GB RAM, TVPaint PRO 11.7.1 - 64bit, Wacom Cintiq 21UX 2nd Gen. I've noticed since updating TVPaint, the behaviour of the shortcut to go to previous / next instance has changed (same with the image marks:previous/next current colour). If your question has been answered, mark your topic as Solved. I could also use an older version of course, but for information, I chose to update to the newest so I get on the same page with teammates or other productions that use more "Layer color" for example, which made uncompatibility problem sometime. Please do consider giving an option in a fix. I am an animator who also does a lot of FXs, and for Fast producing straight animation, I cannot switch tablet shortcut from "using Previous/next instance, then when arriving at the end using arrow key, then using previous instance".ĭo you understand the hardship ? That actually pervent the "FLIPPING" while animating in straight, that is pretty much one of the main mecanism of animating. I know you had reasons to make that change, but why not give options to people since they already have a workflow and it can sometime be very crucial for them ? We tried with older versions and we were not able to reproduce that behaviour with the image marks shortcuts (even on v10 it doesn't work like this) :/ ![]() Same with the image marks:previous/next current colour ![]()
